Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Friday, February 19th, 2016

The Masters’ Academy rode the arm of Ben Chestnutt to remain unbeaten with a 7-0 win over Cornerstone Charter in a 3A-3 game. Chestnutt threw five and two-thirds innings, striking out 12 and allowing no hits. Cole Iturrioz went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs. Andrew Kaminsky went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and Damian Mercado added two hits, including a double, and scored.

Lake Brantley rolled to 6-0 by defeating Lyman 7-4.

Preston Schumacher got the win as Timber Creek stayed undefeated by topping Conrad Academy 3-0.

Geneva and Freedom earned their first wins of the year as the Knights beat Jones 10-0 and the Patriots beat Manatee 4-2.
