Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Friday, February 12th, 2016

The Master’s Academy won its tournament, the Second Annual Eagle Invitational, by walking off in the bottom of the 10th inning for a 5-4 victory over St. John’s Lutheran on Friday. After St. John’s went ahead 4-3 in the top of the 10th, the Eagles evened the score and then Andrew Kaminsky scored the winning run on Cole Iturrioz’s hit. Iturrioz went 3-for-5 with two RBIs, and Kaminsky added two hits, including a double, and also had an RBI. Damian Mercado earned the win. David Arroyo pitched four innings of scoreless relief and JP Jordan three innings of scoreless relief.

Tanner May went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI, and Ruben Saldana added three hits as Dr. Phillips nipped Lake Howell 8-7. Baily Kossoff went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and run, and Will Sullivan had two hits, drove in a run and scored.
