Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Tuesday, March 15th, 2016

Trinity Catholic and Father Lopez passed around the lead Tuesday as if it were a hot potato. When the dust settled, it was the Celtics who came away with an 11-10 win in a 4A-3 game. With the Celtics ahead 3-2, the Green Wave took a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the fourth before the Celtics re-took the lead with a four-run top of the fourth. Father Lopez tied it up with two runs in the bottom of the inning, but Trinity Catholic bounced back to up 9-7 the next inning. Father Lopez responded with three runs for a 10-9 lead in the bottom of the sixth. The Celtics, who moved into a tie with Windermere Prep for second in the district at 3-1, had the final say with two runs in the top of the seventh.

Spruce Creek won its third in a row as it came up with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to beat DeLand 4-3 in a 9A-2 game.
