West Orange rolled to its sixth consecutive win and picked up its first victory in 9A-3 as it edged Apopka 2-1 on Wednesday. The Warriors improved to 8-1 while the Blue Darters dropped to 7-2.
Lake Highland Prep won its third in a row as it beat The Master’s Academy 9-0. Joe Cosgrover went 3-for-5 with a triple and two RBIs, and Max Clark got the win for the Highlanders (6-2). Andrew Kaminsky went 2-for-3 for the Eagles (6-4).
Brett Neilan went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs, and Tomas Farkass went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI for Timber Creek as it snapped a two-game losing streak by defeating Colonial 6-3 in a 9A-6 game.
