Hagerty Rally Falls Short, Huskies Fall To Jupiter In State Semi
Marcos Salva was 1-for-2 with a run for the Huskies.
An early deficit proved too big an obstacle to overcome for the Hagerty Huskies, as the Jupiter Warriors stormed out of the gate and never looked back for a 6-4 win in the Class 7A state semifinal at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers. Jupiter scored three runs in the top of the first inning, and then added on two more runs in the second to take control.
Returning to the state tournament for the first time since 2022 while also making its fourth trip overall over the past ten years, Hagerty is once again denied its first state championship.
But the Huskies did not go down quietly, making the most of their five hits to stay in the fight until the very conclusion. Stephen Chucka got them on the board in the bottom of the first inning with an RBI single that drove in Ryan Foscolo to make it a 3-1 ball game. Brandon Levy then singled and later scored in the third to pull within 5-2.

After the Warriors answered back with their final run of the day, Isaias Torres laced an RBI triple to drive in Marcos Salva, before then scoring as well on a sacrifice fly from Noah Adkins to again pull within two runs.
But Hagerty was not able to get anything else going against the Warriors’ bullpen. Ryder Bennett and Braedon Hopkins both delivered scoreless frames to preserve the Jupiter victory.
